Cleanse skin with a gentle yet effective cleanser in the evening

Cleansing your skin will improve the absorption of retinol into the skin. After cleansing, apply a small amount of retinol serum to your face and neck area. Retinol acts as a collagen and elastin stimulator, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, and promoting firmness to the skin. Wait for complete drying of the serum before applying additional products to the skin. Retinol should be used only in the evening to prevent photosensitivity.

Apply a hydrating moisturizer to maintain moisture and to prevent skin dryness.

Many types of skin can have increased dehydration from retinol, so immediately apply a rich moisturiser to preserve and strengthen the skin barrier and provide moisture. During the day, always wear a broad-spectrum SPF sunscreen to protect against UV damage and to sustain the anti-aging effects of retinol.

Use a restorative night cream to promote overnight repair.

After applying the retinol serum and moisturiser, fully apply a nourishing night cream as the last layer. The use of a night cream will promote re-hydration, renewal and repair of the skin to create smoother, firmer, and healthier skin in the morning.
